Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Revio. Revio is operated by the Revio team. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you do not, don't use Revio.

Who can use Revio

You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep access to your phone number or sign-in provider secure.

Your content

Your ratings, notes, photos, videos and lists remain yours. You give us permission to store them, show them to the people your privacy setting allows, and process them to run the service — for example to compute your scores and recommendations. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we are required to keep something for a legal or safety reason.

Only post content you have the right to post. Don't upload photos you didn't take of places you haven't been.

Rating honestly

Revio only works if ratings are real. Don't rate places you haven't visited, don't accept anything in exchange for a rating, and don't run more than one account to make an opinion look bigger than it is. We remove accounts that do.

What isn't allowed

• Harassing, threatening or abusing anyone.
• Hate speech, or attacking people over who they are.
• Sexual content, graphic violence, or anything illegal.
• Impersonating someone else, or a business.
• Spam, advertising, or scraping the service.
• Trying to break, overload or work around the security of the service.

Every rating, photo, profile and list has a report control, and you can block anyone. Blocking is mutual — neither of you will see the other — and the person you block is not notified. We review reports and may remove content or accounts.

Restaurant information

Restaurant names, addresses, opening hours, prices, photos and menus come from Google and from other users. We do not verify them and they go out of date. Check with the restaurant before you rely on anything — particularly opening hours, prices and whether a place still exists. If something is wrong, use the report control on the restaurant page.

AI-generated content

Some text in Revio is written by a language model: restaurant descriptions, the reason under a recommendation, and the cuisine and vibe cards in a hangout. It can be inaccurate, and it is not advice. Treat it as a starting point, not a fact. Each piece of it can be reported, and we look at what gets flagged.

Hangouts and invite links

Anyone holding a hangout's invite link can see its prompt, the first names of its members, and join it — including people without a Revio account, through the web. Share the link only with people you want at the table. A hangout expires automatically 24 hours after it is created.

Recommendations are suggestions produced from the group's swipes and location. Where you actually go is your decision.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, or where we have to for legal or safety reasons. If we do that and it is not for a serious breach, we will tell you why.

No warranty

Revio is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that recommendations will suit you. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for anything that happens at a restaurant you found through Revio, or for content other users post. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Revio after that means you accept the new version.
